St Petersburg again host for tournament in memory of Nikolay Nikitin

Name the prominent Russian players of the modern era and the chances are that they will have competed in the International Cadet and Hopes Tournament in memory of Nikolay Nikitin.

The likes of Alexey Liventsov, Vasiliy Lakeev, Viachaslev Burov and Polina Mikhailova, alongside Vladimir Sidorenko, crowned European Cadet Boys’ Singles champion earlier this year, have all competed.

XVII International Cadet and Hopes Tournament in memory of Nikolay Nikitin

XVII International Cadet and Hopes Tournament in memory of Nikolay Nikitin will be held from 22 th to 27 th of November 2016 in the most beautiful city of Russia — St. Petersburg.

The competition will be conducted as a part of the calendar ITTF in the specialized hall for the table tennis «Kometa». This tournament has become a tradition, and it is the most popular and representative tournament for cadets and juniors in Russia.Every year more and more athletes from other countries take part in this competition.

The organizers are ready to welcome 224 athletes, provide excellent conditions of the competition, based on the directives of the International Table Tennis Federation for the cadet and junior events. Also athletes will have an unforgettable cultural program in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The main goals of the company EUROSIB, the organizer of the tournament, is the support of childrens’ and youth table tennis sport, strengthening international ties between the Table Tennis Federation of the countries belonging to ITTF, and the creation of one of the most representative youth tournaments not only in Europe but also in the world.
